Siomai is one of the big man's favorite food. While at the mall he would always order siomai at Chowking even if we eat at KFC; and he always craves for more! I looked around for some siomai recipes because I wanted him to have so much siomai than he can actually eat. So, here goes.
Ingredients:
1/2K ground pork
2 pcs. medium carrot (minced)
4 pcs. wtaer chestnuts (singkamas) (minced)
1/2 cup flour
spring onions
egg
salt and pepper to taste
siomai wrapper
Procedure:
1. Combine all ingredients, except siomai wrapper, in a bowl and mix well.
2. Wrap 1 tablespoon siomai mixture in a wrapper.
3. Steam for 15-20 minutes.
4. Serve with chili sauce and enjoy.
As a mom, we always want to serve our family hearty meals that are as well good for their health. However, as a family that is on a tight budget, it's quite challenging to serve a delicious, nutritious, and budget friendly meal. I always come to a point where I would spend hours deciding which meal to prepare, so I will be sharing some of the things that I have learned along the way. Here are a few recipes that my family enjoys.
